PCI Express 2.0 Support
Designed to run perfectly with the new PCI Express 2.0 bus architecture, offering a future-proofing bridge to tomorrow’s most bandwidth-hungry games and 3D applications by maximizing the 5 GT/s PCI Express 2.0 bandwidth (twice that of first generation PCI Express). PCI Express 2.0 products are fully backwards compatible with existing PCI Express motherboards for the broadest support.

NVIDIA® unified architecture
Fully unified shader core dynamically allocates processing power to geometry, vertex, physics, or pixel shading operations, delivering up to 2x the gaming performance of prior generation GPUs.

High-Speed GDDR5 Memory on Board
Enhanced memory speed and capacity ensures more flowing video quality in latest gaming environment especially in large scale textures processing.

Dual Dual-Link DVI
Support hardwares with awe-inspiring 2560-by-1600 resolution, such as the 30-inch HD LCD Display, with massive load of pixels, requires a graphics cards with dual-link DVI connectivity.

Dual 400MHz RAMDACs
Blazing-fast RAMDACs support dual QXGA displayswith ultra-high, ergonomic refresh rates up to 2048x1536@85Hz.

32x Anti-aliasing Technology
Lightning fast, high-quality anti-aliasing at up to 32x sample rates obliterates jagged edges.

Microsoft® DirectX® 11 Shader Model 5.0 Support
DirectX 11 GPU with Shader Model 5.0 support designed for ultra high performance in the new API’s key graphics feature, GPU-accelerated tessellation.

Dual-stream Hardware Acceleration
Provides ultra-smooth playback of H.264, VC-1, WMV and MPEG-2 HD and Bul-ray movies.

NVIDIA® 3D Vision™ Ready
Bringing a fully immersive stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D., you can watch 3D movies and 3D digital photographs in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.

NVIDIA® 3D Vision™ Surround Ready
Expand your games across three displays in full stereoscopic 3D for the ultimate “inside the game” experience with the power of NVIDIA 3D Vision and SLI technologies. NVIDIA® Surround™ also supports triple screen gaming with non-stereo displays.

NVIDIA ® PureVideo ™ HD technology
The combination of high-definition video decode acceleration and post-processing that delivers unprecedented picture clarity, smooth video, accurate color, and precise image scaling for movies and video.

HDCP Capable
Allows playback of HD DVD, Blu-ray Disc, and other protected content at full HD resolutions with integrated High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) support. (Requires other compatible components that are also HDCP capable.)

POINT OF VIEW PRESENTS NEW GEFORCE 400 SERIES GRAPHICS CARDS WITH GEFORCE GTX 480 AND GEFORCE GTX 470

EINDHOVEN – March 26th 2010
Point of View known for its range of NVIDIA based 3D Graphics cards, Netbooks and other PC products, announces today its launch of  the latest generation enthusiast graphics cards: the Point of View GTX 480 1536 MB and Point of View GTX 470 1280 MB.

‘Good things come to those who wait’ and now the waiting game is over with the launch of the New GeForce 400 series. This New Series does not
only benefit by producing a Mass increase in performance due to its new Fermi architecture, but also offers a huge leap forward into total gaming immersion.

With a massive upgrade in shader processors, the GeForce 400 series monsters boost not only in raw 3d calculations but also the more detailed physics and (real-time) ‘raytracing’, which is the mirroring deformation on shiny objects.

The biggest of the two; the GeForce GTX480 is equipped with no less than 480 shader processor cores whilst its smaller brother, the
GTX470 works with 448 cores.

The die-size of the GPU has been shrunken down to a microscopic 40nm. This not only allows better cooling possibilities, but also makes the GPU more energy efficient, leaving some room for higher clock
speeds, which is definitely the case with the GeForce GTX470 and 480.

The usage of ultrafast DDR5 memory allows clock speeds up well above the 3GHz. Also, with 1280 MB for the GTX 470 and 1536 MB for the GTX480, no game will ever get you down again.

A combined power of DirectX 11, CUDA™, and NVIDIA® PhysX® technologies creates a gaming performance that is future-proof.

Last feature that is new within these Graphics cards is the option to create a jaw-dropping three display stereoscopic 3D setup for the ultimate in immersive gaming. Both cards are equipped with two dual link DVI ports and one mini-HDMI port.

With further delay, let’s have a look at the specs of these two new monsters of gaming:
